The Siddha Medicine library emerged as a branch library in the University library system with the establishment of Faculty of Siddha Medicine, in xxxx. It is housed in the first floor of the Faculty of Siddha Medicine old building, which is situated at A9 Road, Kaithady, Jaffna.

This library mainly supports undergraduate education, in its teaching, learning and research activities. In addition, it also assists the scholars and researchers in carrying out their pursuits in the advancement of knowledge.

The main objective of the Medical library is to strengthen siddha medical education by providing latest, nascent information related to the field of medicine. Besides, encourage reading for personality,development, self-reliance and pleasure.
