Medical Camp Report- 2026 at Thondamanaru Selva Sannithi Temple
The Department of Noi Nadal Chikitchai, Faculty of Siddha Medicine, University of Jaffna, in collaboration with the Siddha Teaching Hospital, Kaithady, successfully organized a free medical camp on 9th October 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The programme was held at the Selva Sannithi Temple of Thondamanaru.
The medical camp was conducted with the active participation of a senior lecturer, They were supported by 29 final year BSMS students the Works Aid, Department Demonstrator, Medical Officers, and other staff members of the Siddha Teaching Hospital, Kaithady.
Medicines were supplied by the Siddha Teaching Hospital, Kaithady, and products from the Himalaya Company were also utilized during the camp. The Selva Sannithi Temple Trust members extended their support for the successful conduct of the programme. Nearly eightyfive patients benefited from this public medical camp. The patients presented with vrious health conditions, including bilateral knee pain, skin rashes, and diabetes. Appropriate medical advice and treatment were provided according to their health conditions.
