Medical Camp Mallavi – 2026

The Department of Noi Nadal Chikitchai, Faculty of Siddha Medicine, University of Jaffna, in collaboration with Provincial Department of Indigenous Medicine, conducted a free Siddha medical camp on 2nd of September 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Mallavi, Mullaitheevu.

The camp was conducted with the participation of a Senior Lecturer from the Department of Noi Nadal Chikitchai, supported by the Works Aid, Assistant lectures, Department Demonstrators, Medical Officers, and staff members of the Siddha Hospital, Mallavi. They were supported by 40, Final year BSMS students.Medicines were provided by the Siddha Hospital, Mallavi, and Himalaya products were also utilized.

A total of 56 patients benefited from the medical camp. The commonly identified health conditions included osteoarthritis, diabetes mellitus, hypertension, hypercholesterolemia, gastritis, and menorrhagia.
