Siddha Manuscripts and Paramparai Maruthuvam: Preserving Traditional Knowledge for Future Practice

The Department of Nanjiyal & Paramparai Maruthuvam, Faculty of Siddha Medicine, University of Jaffna, will organize the 1st Knowledge Enhancement Session for the 4th BSMS students (Academic Year 2023/2024) on 22nd July 2026 from 1.30 p.m. to 3.30 p.m. at Bogar Hall, Faculty of Siddha Medicine.

The session, titled "Siddha Manuscripts and Paramparai Maruthuvam: Preserving Traditional Knowledge for Future Practice" will be conducted by Dr. V. Athavan, Community Health Medical Officer, Rural Siddha Hospital, Mulliyawalai, Mullaitivu.

This programme has been organized with the objective of enhancing students' academic knowledge and fostering an appreciation of traditional Siddha practices, with particular emphasis on the preservation of Siddha manuscripts and Paramparai Maruthuvam for future clinical practice.
