Medical Camp Selva Chanathi

The Department of Noi Naadal Chikitchai, Faculty of Siddha Medicine, University of Jaffna, in collaboration with the Siddha Teaching Hospital, Kaithady, successfully organized a free medical camp on 22 June 2026 from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The programme was held at the Common Hall of the Thondamanaru Selva Sannithi Temple.

The medical camp was conducted with the active participation of four Senior Lecturers, including the Dean of the Faculty and the Head of the Department of Noi Naadal Chikitchai. They were supported by 28 third-year BSMS students, a Temporary Assistant Lecturer, Department Demonstrators, Medical Officers, a Works Aide, and other staff members of the Siddha Teaching Hospital, Kaithady. Medicines were supplied by the Siddha Teaching Hospital, Kaithady, and healthcare products provided by the Himalaya Company were also distributed during the camp.

The members of the Selva Sannithi Temple Trust extended their valuable support for the successful conduct of the programme. Nearly 30 patients benefited from this public medical camp.
