About The Program
The Program focuses on surgical conditions such as varicose vein, heamorroids, chronic wounds, abscesses, tumors, and fistulas under the Aruvai Maruthuvam are treating by Siddha Surgery.
To strengthen clinical competency and interdisciplinary understanding, the department collaborates closely with the Siddha Teaching Hospital, Kaithady, where Fourth and Final BSMS students receive extensive clinical exposure and hands-on training. Students are trained in Siddha diagnostic methods, treatment planning, pre-operative assessment, operative procedures, post-operative care, and patient management under the supervision of qualified academic and clinical staff.
