Research Project
The Research Project Program provides students with an opportunity to develop research skills and contribute to the advancement of Siddha medicine. Through supervised scientific studies, students explore health-related issues and gain practical experience in research methodology, data analysis, and scientific writing.
About The Research Project
The Research Project is a compulsory component for students who have completed the Phase II (Para Clinical) curriculum of the BSMS degree programme. Under the guidance of assigned supervisors, students identify a suitable research problem, develop a research proposal, and conduct a scientific study following the approved research guidelines.
Before commencing the study, students must obtain ethical clearance from the University of Jaffna. Upon completion, they submit a research report and present their findings at a Viva-Voce examination. This programme helps students develop research skills while contributing to the advancement of Siddha medicine and community health.
