2nd Knowledge Enhancement Session for BSMS Students on “Identification of Poisonous Snakes in Sri Lanka”  

The Department of Nanjiyal & Paramparai Maruthuvam, Faculty of Siddha Medicine, University of Jaffna, will organize the 2nd Knowledge Enhancement Session for Third Year BSMS students on 24th July 2026 from 1.30 p.m. to 3.30 p.m. at Theraiyar Hall, Faculty of Siddha Medicine, University of Jaffna.

The session, titled "Identification of Poisonous Snakes in Sri Lanka," will be delivered by Dr. (Mrs.) Apiramy Sivaruban, Senior Lecturer, Department of Zoology, Faculty of Science, University of Jaffna.

This programme is organized as part of the Department's Knowledge Enhancement Series with the objective of strengthening the academic knowledge and clinical competencies of BSMS students. The session is intended for Third Year BSMS students studying Nanjiyalum Neethi Maruthuvamum (Toxicology and Forensic Medicine) and will provide comprehensive knowledge on the identification of poisonous snakes in Sri Lanka and their significance in toxicology and clinical practice.
