The Blood Donation Camp was successfully organized by the students of the Siddha Medical Faculty, University of Jaffna, on 13.05.2026 at the Faculty Auditorium. The program was conducted from 9.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. with the objective of encouraging voluntary blood donation and creating awareness about the importance of saving lives through blood donation.
The event commenced with the registration of donors followed by medical screening conducted by the medical staff to ensure donor eligibility. A total of 36 donors voluntarily donated blood during the camp. Students, staff members, and well-wishers actively participated in the event, making the program meaningful and successful.
The event received excellent cooperation from the faculty administration, medical officers, nurses, volunteers, and student organizers, whose dedication and teamwork contributed greatly to the smooth conduct of the program. Volunteers assisted in donor coordination, registration, refreshments, and maintaining an organized environment throughout the event.
The Blood Donation Camp concluded successfully with heartfelt gratitude extended to all blood donors, volunteers, staff members, and supporters who contributed to the success of the event. Their generosity and commitment reflected the true spirit of humanity and social responsibility.
