About Us

Gunapadam is known as the backbone of Siddha Medicine. It is a broad, interdisciplinary field that includes the identification of natural raw materials (plants, minerals, and animal products), the detoxification of plants, minerals, and animal products, and the preparation of medicines. It teaches the exploration and classification of substances used in medicine preparation, focusing particularly on medicinal plants, metals, minerals, animals, and their byproducts. It involves understanding the properties, uses, and therapeutic effects of natural substances in the treatment of diseases. Gunapadam links ancient traditions with modern science and aims to find safe, effective, and sustainable ways of using nature for healing.
