The inauguration programme for the Freshers (36th Batch) of the Unit of Siddha Medicine for the Academic year 2018/2019 was held on 10th February 2020 at Siddha Auditorium.
The Programme Review (Site visit) will be commenced from 10th to 13th February 2020 at Unit of Siddha Medicine, University of Jaffna, Kaithady.

The inauguration for Orientation programme 2020 of the fresher’s for the academic year 2018/2019 will be held on 10th February 2020 at Siddha Auditorium, Unit of Siddha Medicine, Kaithady. Around 80 freshers (students) will be participated in this Orientation programme 2020.
The registration for the new students will be held on 13th February 2020 at Unit of Siddha Medicine.

The Thai Pongal Festival has been celebrated by the Siddha Medical Students Association on 15th January 2020 from 10.30 am to 1.30 am at Unit of Siddha Medicine, University of Jaffna.
Deadline for submission of Abstract with Extended Abstract (2nd IRCESM 2020) has been extended from 15th January 2020 to on or before 31st January 2020.

The Third issue of Siddha Newsletter 2019 (Biannually) was released by the Prof. P. Sevvel , Member of BoM on 14th January 2020 at Boardroom, Unit of Siddha Medicine, University of Jaffna. Chairman/ BoM, Members of the BoM, Academic staff and Temporary staff participated in this occasion.
