Proposed Department of Noi Naadal Chikitchai organized a medical camp with Chavakacheri Pradeshya Sabha on September 12, 2023, from 9.00 am to 2.00 pm at the Pradeshya Sabha Library in Sarasalai. Twenty students from the fourth and final BSMS attended the medical camp along with three lecturers and nine demonstrators. Approximately 35 patients received treatment. Additionally, advice and awareness were given to the patients. From the Himalaya Drug Company, certain significant medications were given out.

Exhibition at the Hindu Ladies’ College of Manipay
In accordance with the principal’s request, the Unit of Siddha medicine was contributed to the exhibition at Manipay Hindu Ladies’ College in honor of their diamond jubilee. With the approval of Vice – Chancellor the five proposed Department were contributed to the exhibition, and lecturers and demonstrators guided the students prepare for the exhibition. 16 students from the third BSMS and 9 students from the fourth BSMS contributed actively to the exhibition.

Time – 16th and 17th of August 2023 (8.00am – 3.00pm)
Beneficiaries – School students (over 1500) teachers (50) and parents (30)The following matters were exhibited.
- Proposed Department of Moola Thathuvam – BMI
- Proposed Department of Gunapadam – Fruits, spinaches, flowers which are used in Medicine with their nutritional value and benefits.
- Proposed Department of Noi Naadal Chikitchai – Obesity, Gunmam and its management
- Proposed Department of Kuzhanthai and Mahalir Maruthuvam – Management of problems related to female adolescence, worm infestation in schoolchildren, and malnutrition.
- Proposed Department of Virana Chikitchai – Ear, Nose, and Teeth Examination and provided advice.

A recognized postgraduate degree in the relevant Disciple
Note: Candidates who are waiting for the internship after the completion of the final BSMS examinations may also apply for the post of Temporary Demonstrator.

Report on the World’s Environmental Day Exhibition
The Unit of Siddha Medicine organized an exhibition for World Environment Day in the Unit premises on 27th of September 2023. The five proposed Department were contributed to the exhibition, and lecturers and demonstrators guided the students prepare for the exhibition. 10 students from the third BSMS and 4 students from the fourth BSMS actively contributed to the exhibition of Noi Naadal Chikitchai section.
